1. Dixiecrats are disproportionately elderly white native born Southerners
They call themselves "Dimmycrat", but rarely ever actually vote for one. They identify as Democrats because their great-great grandfather was a "Dimmycrat" his whole life because the Union army burned down his barn during the War of Northern Aggression. But in the voting booth, they behave like Republicans, at least in national elections; they may vote for Democrats who are similarly conservative in local races.

They will be a memory in a decade or two.

2. I don't believe the negatives here reflect what people actually believe.
but more what they think is politically advantageous to say. There are exceptions though. Some right wingers are truly stupid to the umpteenth degree.

3. so Half of GOPers and 1/4th of Independents are NUTS & shouldn't be voting, spawning, & out late.
And 13% of Dems who think he's foreign born are racists, and need to switch parties. We don't want them, and can and did win without them!
