Cops: Teacher Threatened To Shoot Kids
Science Teacher At Winter Garden School Arrested

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. -- A science teacher at a Winter Garden high school has been arrested on charges that he threatened to shoot students.

Jerrold Gabriel, a science teacher at West Orange High School, was arrested after an incident last month when he took a student to see a guidance counselor, deputies said.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, the counselor said that Gabriel demanded that the student be placed at the top of the waiting list for a special class, and that he would shoot any other students placed ahead of the student.
