When did The Trigger rear its ugly head again? And, is it just the press who |
|
says it's being discussed, or is there something to it.
I thought that died a while back.
Of course, I think we're set one day, the next day we find out we're not. Sigh. I can't wait until this is done so we can either celebrate or stomp our feet for a valid reason.

3. That's something else I don't understand. Snowe just has ONE vote, right? |

Why have we/they bestowed these magical powers upon her?
I have to believe there's gotta be some valid reason, I just don't get what it is.

4. Obama is still fixated on this "bipartisan" shit |
|
And I don't get it...I mean, its not going to make any difference to voters whether he found a Repug to vote with him or not.

7. One Republican vote doesn't scream "bipartisan" by any means. It's almost embarrassing. nt |

6. Now that it is beginning to seem like a PO might be part of the mix, and she's |
|
said she will NOT vote for cloture if that's the case.... Her "star" has already begun to dim.

2. I think it may be used in a different (better) way. . |
|
NOW the talk is of having a public option, with a trigger employed to allow States to "opt out" at some future date. .
. .If I've got that right, the trigger is no longer a bad thing.

5. If that's the case, I'd have to say it may not be AS bad a thing. |
|
With the insurance companies having monopolies in so many states, I don't think it would take much for them to 'convince' the states to opt out.
But now that you mention it, I do remember that they're saying something about state opt-outs. Thanks for reminding me. I get so confused! :hi:
