Skyway Cam, Bay Bridge nearing completion

2. Nearing? Not even close.

That big gap is going to be filled by a suspension bridge that they've barely begin building. The option to build the Skyway all the way across was rejected as being too "utilitarian", so the project will be stretched out to add in the suspension section. Last I heard, the projected completion date for the 2000+ feet of suspension bridge was 2013, and even that date was somewhat questionable.
