1. Very pleased.
I'm surprised that some are not pleased.

2. I have the same enthusiasm as a starving person would have for a bowl of sour gruel
It may keep me from keeling over in the short term and for that I guess I'm grateful, but I don't think it suffices for the long haul.

3. Maybe, but it might keep you alive long enough to eventually get your most desired meal.

4. I would have been pleased
with "Medicare for all", but I am surprised that the "public option" was passed in any form by the Senate.

6. You can't move a mountain all at once,, you do it ,one rock at a time
I am thankful for a beginning, although I'll never use it, I am on Tricare, but my kids and grandkids need it.....

7. My attitude is, I will take what I can get. The way I have seen Democrats
cow tow and tip toe around Republicans since the election, I think it is a step in the right direction.

I also feel that once the gov't gets involved, it will have no choice but to go further in making sure that people are covered.

9. I was thinking of you
THAT was ugly. But if it helps, remember that you guys had the best team in the league during the first half. Something to build on.

Take it out on the Jets. Do us both a favor. :)

10. I am pleased. We will all watch what happens to it in conference.
And track the votes for closure.

Anything we get with a public option will serve as a foundation.

11. That is my reasoning as well. I am cautious, however, and won't breathe easier
until it's a done deal. I'll be looking for "red flag" amendments...I just hope Reid has this thing sewed up and nobody goes crazy at the last minute...

14. No, but it's not about being "pleased"
It's about getting things done!
