Over 800B of public money.....for what? |
|
For private insurance companies and shareholders. Some things never change. Mandate some new customers into the money pool. It's another scam. It would make more sense to trade off a new tort limit in exchange for legislation outlawing exclusion of pre-existing conditions that wouldn't cost a penny to enact. But the plutocracy that has reigned for decades only represents the corporations and the people's lives are meaningless.
Since the 06 elections, there has been shared anticipation of a new dawn. When the House was won and Pelosi became the 1st female majority leader, we were ecstatic in our jubilation. But there were no calls for investigations, no cessation of Iraq war funding, no return of blue collar jobs from offshoring, and no real changes at all unless you wish to call a new minimum wage of some 7.25/hr magnanimous. They threw out some crumbs which is generally the case and the masses are supposed to jubilate.
When we worked, contributed money, and elected the first black president, we shared anticipation of a genuine new dawn with real change. They gave us nothing but an empty symbol, a puppet that planned to carry out the same corporate agenda as Bush had. We've seen a 2nd big bailout of Wall St with public money managed by ex-Goldman Sachs execs in the new Obama admin. We've seen an escalation of the Afghan/Pakistan War accomplishing nothing but more death and confusion as to goals and purpose. There has been nothing but hollow words about repeal of DADT or equal marital rights for all citizens. There was no end to eavesdropping and privacy offenses against citizens. Wall Street remains unregulated and unfettered in the aftermath of their theft of public funds.
It's been a great history lesson for the young since Jan 07. The political system is corrupted by private money and bribery. It is a scam of epic proportion. We have plutocratic government and not democratic government. The only representation is reserved for the wealthy capitalists who control both parties. They control every aspect of our lives.
There is an odd correlation between their ultimate control over us and the UFO incidents since the 1940s. It's a way of subtlely reminding us all how they control what we can experience. We, the people, are not allowed information that is forbidden. They hold all the secrets of our lives and we had better accept it and be satisfied if we want to live. Gallileo learned that if you question ultimate power, you better do it privately and silently. God bless this mess.

I have a piece on my blog titled, "A View of the Healthcare Debate From Inside The American Plutonomy". I used the Citigroup memo term.

4. Just read your blog piece, mmonk |

Very telling expose. Read the Sibel Edmonds article above it as well. The whole network of national and int'l gangsters are having a field day. Ultimate power ultimately corrupts.

There can never be a mutual respect and trust. The citizens know they are being shaken down. In politics, as well as science, the common population will forever remain disrespected.
