Even if we'd double the number of troops, it wouldn't stop Islamic Jihadism |

And even if we'd triple the number of troops, it wouldn't stop Islamic Jihadism.
Not even if we'd quadruple the number of troops, it still wouldn't stop Islamic Jihadism.
However, every day that the current number of troops stay, it can only make it worse.
That's how you know it's a quagmire.

2. The idea of stopping an idealogy -- |
|
with bombs is simply insane.
If we had spent the hundreds of billions of dollars wasted on Afghanistan and Iraq instead on schools, food, and housing for the poor in Islamic countries that are too often targets of the RW madrassas, our $$$ would have been much better spent.

3. +1 bombs have the opposite of the intended effect. |
|
or is it the intended effect? For every one you kill, 10 will become radicalized.
Many ME parents send their kids to the hyper-ideological madrases, because the kids have no other real opportunities for education. Well fed, well-educated, and adequately housed people don't do suicide bombing.
