I don't have cable; is ANYONE talking about NY-23 today? |
|
Or, since the Teabagger Hoffman didn't win, is that now officially a non-issue?
Man, I've never heard so much kerfuffle about losing two Governor's Seats...

1. I am listening to Ed Schultz and it sounds like the end of the world |
|
He's ignores NY 23 and Ca 10. I'd say on a national front we won. Corzine had lots of baggage and Deeds ran away from Obama.

I haven't seen it on TV at all! We increased our majority in Congress by TWO, & poof! Gone! |
|
It's really blowing my mind today - it's like no has noticed we just expanded our majority.
Especially with a seat we haven't been able to claim since before the Civil War!
Amazing!!
It is really a lesson in media.

10. Yes...CNN is a poor model but |
|
In the news they are giving credit to the democrats for a win over the GOP and they are not fanning the flames for McDonnell and Christie. I hate the fact that they always give the GOP benefit of the doubt and post their messages more but they are covering the fact that a democrat won the first time in 152 years.

2. I sat thru an hour of Morning Joe and didn't hear a thing about it (altho I read here someplace |
|
that Joe did talk about it later). I didn't even see the story in the NY Times this morning...
The Official Story of the day is How the Democrats Lost Independents. Never mind that we got 2 more Dems in the House. I don't know how THAT isn't important...

4. did you see the loss of indies in Va and NJ? It was significant. |
|
It should not be ignored. To simply complain that Joe did not fawn all over the D's will not carry us next year.

7. Yet it was so important up until the final vote was tallied. |
|
All we heard last week was how it would signal how much influence that Limbaugh or Palin actually had if their candidate won. Now that it actually went to the dem, the media can't see fit to evaluate what that means to the dems majority, and how Palin really did influence the vote, but in the opposite of what she wanted.

9. I think maybe MSM thought the race was in the bag and hadn't prepared for such an outcome -? |
|
Now it's a hot potato. So predictable.

12. Democratic politicians must run from the left to the right if they want to stay in power... |
|
Blah blah blah.
I shit you not, that is the conclusion these educated people will come up with.
The same dumb fucks saying this will be scratching their heads trying to figure out why people would vote against their alleged 'best interests' after the 2010 & 2012 Elections.
