Our penchant for acting like a herd of cats will be our biggest obstacle next election cycle |
|
It's crucial to have a good plan... right now, to gain seats, not just hold on to what we have.
Next, we need good candidates for the general elections. That means that we should have primaries where we can to replace the DINOs with good, strong and brave progressives in the Kucinich/Franken/Grayson mold.
That's right, we need a strong lurch leftward!
The point is to have a solid progressive front to force President Obama's hand for the remainder.
Organize and fight...Organize and fight... Organize and fight!

5. We need to set a goal and then go on offense to win more seats. How many seats? |
|
+8 to +10 would be a good goal.

6. Naaw, our biggest obstacle next cycle |

will be the same as it has been for 20 years. You see, in the early 90s a group of corporatists decided that the best way to defeat the Democrats and our efforts to stand up for common people would be to co-opt the Party. And they have quite successfully done just that.
