It's the kind of change that's good for me to poop on.

2. "Individual Mandate" = Fascism
Edited on Mon Nov-09-09 02:09 AM by New Dawn
Forcing people to buy a product or service (such as health insurance) from a private company is fascist economics.

Just take a guess what is going to happen when that becomes law. The health insurance companies will unquestionably increase their prices to fuck everyone out of more of our hard-earned money. And if the American people do not like it, then they get fined.

Will voters like this law?

3. HORRIBLE BILL.
Edited on Mon Nov-09-09 08:08 AM by PHIMG
Insurance Companies get 50 million new customers.

Insurance Companies get billions in subsidies.

No non-profit mandate for insurance companies

A buy-insurance mandate for individuals.

Tax fines for people who refuse to buy the defective product.

Does not ensure universal insurance.

Insurers free to find new ways to deny you care.

Will not enable the government to bargain for bulk purchases.

THIS BILL IS BY AND FOR THE BIG MONEY PARTY, WITH JUST ENOUGH IRRELEVANT CHANGE TO FOOL DIE HARD DEMOCRATIC PARTISANS AND THOSE WHO CAN'T TAKE THE TIME TO REALLY LOOK AT THE BILL CRITICALLY INTO THINKING IT REPRESENTS REAL CHANGE.

IT'S NOT CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN. IT'S CHANGE BIG MONEY PAID FOR.

A CONSERVATIVE, BIG-MONEY BILL SOLD AS A PROGRESSIVE SUCCESS. WE'VE BEEN HOODWINKED. RUMORS OF THE DLC'S DEATH ARE GREATLY EXAGGERATED.

MEDICARE FOR ALL IS THE CHANGE WE NEED.
