Grassley opponent Tom Fiegen knocks it out of the park in Iowa City
It is a huge uphill battle to beat one of the Goliaths of the senate, Chuck Grassley.
But I am sure everyone on this forum can agree that Chuck must go.
Here are a couple of videos of one opponent, Tom Fiegen's speech at the annual Johnson County BBQ:

1. I'm compiling a list of people whose opponents I will be donating to
Edited on Mon Nov-09-09 01:07 PM by Warpy
in order to unseat them in 2010. Tom Fiegen will be one of the beneficiaries.

Thanks for the information.

We have got to get these guys out of office any way we can. My way will be donating to their opponents, in primaries for Democrats and in the general if the Republican has to go.

My pockets aren't super deep, but if I've got company, it will mount up fast.

2. Thank you, Warpy.
This is a major undertaking, but I was deeply involved in the Dave Loebsack victory over 30 year incumbent Jim Leach.
I have similar feelings about this race.

3. When you finish the list, please post it here.
Along with the reason you made the choices you did. Many of us here feel the same way but just can't keep up with all the races in other states. It would do us a great service if you posted the info. Also, like you, many of us can't afford to send much, but, a few dollars here, a few dollars there. Hell, if I could figure out a way to get everyone in California to send me a buck!

5. I think I will probably end up posting donor pages
some time in the late summer or early fall.

My advice for Congress: don't piss off the Irish. We tend to get results when you do.

4. I can throw him a buck or two. Grassley's time is way past.
Time for Chuck to find a soft job in a rwing foundation.
