If the Dems let Bush and his minions pin losing Iraq on us we will never win another election |
|
And then the next Republican president will be invading more countries and causing more death.
Bush and his thugs can't look back now. They have committed War Crimes and they know that if the Dems get control of everything next election there is going to be hell to pay.
Iraq and all that oil is lost. The only question left to decide is who is going to pay the heaviest price for losing it.

2. I agree, the blame has to lie on Bush and his Republican cronies. |
|
If we can stick the blame on Bush for losing Iraq, we won't see a Republican Congress or president for another 20 years.
Just think of all the good the Dems could do.

3. So I give up on what you are suggesting here. |

Don't get out? Get out? Escalate?
I say that we stop committing the war crime we are engaged in, get out, wait for the dust to settle, pay whatever it takes to fund whatever is left to rebuild, and call our domestic war criminals to account.
If we get 'blamed' for doing the right thing, such is the price we will have to pay. Doing what is right is frequently not easy and frequently comes with a steep price.

After all the spin is spun and the smog has lifted, I think the American people will see exactly who is responsible for this mess. We will soon have a flood of memoirs from the Bush regime, and all the fingers will point at Bush and Cheney and toadies like Tenet. Aside from the immediate tragedy of lives and limbs lost, we will be paying the cost of this disaster for years to come. I seriously think that Iraq - as well as general incompetence and corruption - may in fact mark the end of the Republican Party. The GOP will be gone with the wind, just like their predecessors, the Whigs.
