I Think This Is My Last Night Watching Tweety |
|
Since CNN canned their resident bigot, Lou Dobbs, the 7PM Eastern timeslot is now safe on CNN and I'll never have to sit through a segment with the Nazi Apologist, Pat Buchanan, ever again.
Regardless of who replaces Dobbs, they've got to be better than Tweety, especially since he has the Nazi apologist on EVERY FUCKING SHOW!
And who knows, this may lead to me sticking around for Campbell Brown at the 8 PM Eastern hour instead of flipping over to Keith...

5. The 7 PM Eastern hour always sucked on all three channels |
|
Fox is a no started, regardless of anchor.
Lou Dobbs was always worse than Fox.
So I used to settle on Tweety.
Now, I have a choice and Tweety is going to be worse than whomsoever CNN replaces Dobbs with.
If it's Rich Sanchez, I'll stick with CNN through the 8 PM Eastern hour because I've always liked Campbell Brown and Keith is getting stale these days.

7. I watch American Morning |
|
Sanchez is definitely that good. I feel about AM the same way I feel about Tweety, it's the best of a very bad lot. I refuse to watch Fox ever (I've got a parental block on it at my house and won't let anybody ever watch it. It does not exist in my home) and Scarborough is worse than Fox, so I watch AM reluctantly. If Scarborough ever wen away, I'd probably watch MSNBC in the mornings before leaving for work.

4. I like that we'll have more options at 7 |
|
Lou was completely unwatchable. Tweety is wishy washy. And though I've heard good things about Shep, FNC is simply not an option for me.

9. I hate the way he drools and tries to get his guest to agree with his speculations..... |
|
It's like he wants to make news, and he desperately tries to each and everyday, and most days he fails.
Today and yesterday, he had decided that Pres. Obama "went too far" in stating that Major Hasan will get justice here and in the afterlife for the murders that he committed. Somehow, Bush can wrap himself into God's flag, but Obama is not allowed to mention the afterlife at a memorial. Ok.

12. Very SAME taking points on that by Tweety tonight. Exact words. "Too far." |
|
He couldn't get any real traction with it with either guest, though.

11. I don't watch Tweety much at all because of Pat Buchanan or someone similar |
|
on every program, and I really don't like Tweety himself - He seems to be very conservative loving for a "liberal". OK, he does not like Cheney, but no one in their right mind does, and he's fascinated with the old line Washington insider conservatives like Buchanan. He seems to believe they really have integrity and good intentions for the country, just go about it in a different way. I don't know if he's naive or cynical, but I don't like him very mych.

13. Campbell Brown- just know who she's hooked up with-- |
|
Dan Senor. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/04/09/fashion/weddings/09vows.htmlhttp://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Dan_SenorI haven't heard her in ages, but from an occasional taste I had of her during the election campaign while Bushies were still in, I'll take Keith.
