(0:06) Dispatcher: Is there a unit calling radio?
(0:15) Officer 1: I believe she said I-5 north of yesler
(0:19) Operator: 3 george 13?
(0:22) Sweeney:
(0:24) Operator: 3 George 13? I map George 13, I show her at 29 and E yesler way, if units could that way
(0:37) Sweeney: Help. Shots fired
(0:42) Sweeney: My partner’s dead.

and it was all so senseless.

3. i am really glad they caught that guy

he had bombs galore in his apartment and was CLEARLY planning for more attacks.

and just like in the columbine incident, people got really lucky. in the case of columbine, they actually set some poorly constructed explosive devices that did not end up going off. many more lives would have been lost.

this guy who assassinated brenton while he sat in his car talking to sweeney was apparently responsible for the firebombing of several SPD cop cars a couple of weeks earlier. he left booby traps to blow up the responding cops, but they didn't go off.

a guy with a grudge, and a bunch of bombs is not a good thing
