Get over yourselves ladies |

Edited on Thu Nov-12-09 08:39 PM by boston bean
the Democratic Party is trying hard to find some COMMON GROUND with the GOP. And it's hard work doin all the common ground ground work.
And by golly they have finally achieved it. They found it by making every concession with nothing in return. It's absolutely genius strategy!
And I do hope everyone is feeling good about all this common ground that is being newly discovered. It is afterall the mark of a successful political machine. And it's all so warm and fuzzy, makes me feel like I just had a cup of hot coco with marshmellow.
Ladies and everyone else, we can be so much happier now.
Just think about it, no more single issue voting, no more voting with your vagina's, no more wedge issues, no more bitchin.
You have been given a new place in life, and we can thank common ground for it.

31. Obama should say chuck the current HCR Bill |
|
First, I think it sucks and sets way too many negative direction precedents.
Second (and political chess), Obama can say we will try again after the 2010 elections. Make HCR a wedge issue and then we will have larger majority and greater proportion of representitives that support health care reform comparable to more civilized societies.
I do not think either is likely but the strategy is sound.

I and others on this forum are doing OK, but there are a lot of people out there getting really ticked. You have to do both at the same time. I think He's going to it, it's taking too long for the bought off pigs in Congress (not all) to get this HCR done and they aren't even getting it right

HCR seems to be the common acronym for PHIER(PHIER being private health care insurance entitlement reform) rather than useful and available health care for people that is more the norm in civilized societies.

If the town halls don't work, then water it down, threaten filibusters, use parliamentary maneuvers. But that still didn't kill it, well let's get one of lackeys introduce an odious amendment that gets the rest of the Dems in a tizzy, let's say an abortion amendment. That oughtta split them up, make them argue amongst themselves.
