A local TV station has been running public service announcements to inform people who can not get their signal since the digital switch that the problem will be corrected Mid - November.
If I can't get the TV signal, how am I going to see their public service announcement?

2. I know but I can't stop laughing every time I see the announcement |
|
They probably are required by some FCC regulation to make the announcement.

8. That's tricky... it's not on the keyboard. |
|
rather it's located right next to the automated cup holder built in to your computer.

10. thanks, i've been wondering why i couldn't get a signal ever since the digital switch! |
|
actually, no, i haven't had a problem.
but your post answers your own question. some psa's have limited or no effect directly, but do have an effect indirectly, by word of mouth or otherwise getting the word out, on the internet perhaps.
so that doesn't mean the psa's are useless. now the real question is, did the makers of the psa realize this -- they could have rephrased the psa, "if you know anyone who has lost their signal, please tell them ..." but perhaps that was too wordy.
more likely, some corporate lawyer decided they needed to be able to show the provided notification, but didn't need to show that it was effective.

12. Because there is Braille on all ATMs. |
|
No need to make a different model keyboard just for drive-thrus, it only adds to inventory costs.
Don't you hate reasonable answers to whimsical questions? :)
