Will the GOP nominee pick Cheney for VP or will the VP pick the |
|
nominee.
Beware! Cheney can be VP in 08 unless he is impeached! I know, you say "they will never do that" and the neocons turn around and do it. We're surprised and pissed, but never ready!
As another DU'r said "they play hardball we play nerfball".
Campaign managers take notice and plan for it in case. Also I think the blogs should smoke him out early and start asking these questions to disrupt their plans.

2. I think the file will close on Dick Cheney after this 2nd term. |
|
Two terms too long, in my book.
But the odds of him appearing on a Republican ticket after the performance he's just given -- and with 19% approval rate -- are lower than low.
Nebraska-line dead. Der tank ist leer. He's out of there.

8. If the nominee even wants the appearance of being serious about winning |
|
. . . he won't even utter Cheney's name in the hopes that the voters will forget he's there.

9. No way this will happen ... |
|
Cheney has enjoyed an 18% approval rating (and that was a while ago, I doubt it has gone anywhere but down). That means that about half of the right-wing lunatics don't like him.
The only proof that Cheney is still running the show is the fact that he is still in office.
Cheney is the political plague. Anything he touches now is destined to result in a very painful death.
Cheers Drifter

12. Cheney is hankerin' to go back to the private sector and make a few more $$$ |
|
His swinging door lifestyle in and out of government and government contractor enterprises is what made him a millionaire and after that a multi-millionaire in the first place.
