1. not to argue - but Cho is a common enough name
Margaret Cho might be a bit tweaked about this.

3. Cho is like Jones in Korean
And Kim is like Smith.

4. Can you explain more about this?
When does this script run and who/what does it apply to with respect to internet postings?

6. There's an ingenius Firefox add-on called "Greasemonkey"...
... which has the effect of intercepting an/some/all html page before it gets displayed, running some javascript code on it, and THEN displaying it to you. This allows you to, in effect, make your own personal web. I can show you a screenshot of how *my* gmail looks now, as opposed to google's version.

This anti-cho script removes all links containing "Cho", pictures with the name "Cho", and so forth from the user's displayed page. It's an attempt to de-Cho-ize the user's web. I wonder if there was a popular attempt to de-McVeigh-ize the web?

7. Genius rhetoric! *Nothing* counts as backlash until they get interned or some such thing!

12. *Saying*, and *saying that* aren't the same thing - unfortunately for your specious rhetorical ploy.

13. No, seriously, I don't recall ever implying
that nothing short of concentration camps or some such counted as backlash. I belittled the idea that one person making a silly little script to hide the word "Cho" was noteworthy in the slightest. Are the two ideas identical in your mind?

8. Mixed emotions on this one
How about a script that REPLACES his name with the names of the 32 totally innocent people he senselessly, brutally, and viciously murdered? I'd install that one. I'd rather not see his name again. Or hear it. Or read it. And heck, I don't even care for Margaret Cho's comedy anyway... (please don't say it's because she's Asian. That'd be kinda binary)

14. An alternative viewpoint
Maybe some people don't want to participate in a murderer's self-aggrandizement?
