5. Yes. And that animation doesn't even include the further 1.7% of |
|
additional jobs lost since it was made. So, it's even worse than this graph shows.

Makes me wonder if some of the "the economy is improving" happy horse shit is exactly that - horse shit. Just another attempt to let people know that their lousy financial condition is their individual problem rather than a systemic breakdown in systems.

9. You've touched on a key point... |
|
That being what is the economy, exactly?
Apparently for some it is a giant casino where the wealthy can gamble on "investments."
For most of us, though, it is supposedly the source of employment and income for the masses.
Right now, the gamblers are "winning" the argument.

16. Is it possible that an economy could emerge which bypasses Wall Street altogether? |

I mean, if many of them are intent on selling and profiting from defective financial products, then why is anyone compelled to do business with them?

We're already seeing crimes committed by people "just trying to feed their families" on a pretty big scale.

I was just sent this link and haven't explored it much yet, but it looks like there's some decent information. http://www.statehealthfacts.org/comparebar.jsp?ind=125&cat=3&sub=39&yr=134&typ=2
