I just spoke to Diamond Pet foods about all therecalled pet foods.

I was a happy camper for the last few weeks because I feed my babies Kirkland Chicken & rice and since it does not contain wheat, all was fine. When I read this morning that ariceconcentrate was recalled I flipped out!

I call Diamond Pet Foods who make the food under the Kirkland brand name for Costco. I have been assured that #1, it does not contain any of the rice protein concentrate, butthat they but ALL their ingredients from US suppliers.

I did tell them I wasn't impressed with our FDAthese days,butthey are at least better than whatever China has, if they have any controls at all.

Perhapse everyone should contact the companywho makes the foods they feed their pets and ask if THEY buy any ingredients from China. I'm nottrying to be a China hater, but their suppliers sure haven't been very trustworthy lately!

7. Yes I am aware of the space bar problem and I try to review

every post and correct the space problems. It's a new Logitec wireless keyboard and logitec keeps telling me there's no problem. Sorry!

3. Kirkland foods gave my Sheltie bladder stones that almost killed

her. I don't know if they have changed the make up of the food since then, but I still can't force myself to touch it with a 10 foot pole. It was a scary time in my life.

6. I Poisoned my dog with Alpo Beef

It was after the Menu Foods recall, but Alpo wasn't on the list. I bought it fed half a can to him, and then two days later they recalled Alpo...

Luckily he didn't have a bad time of it. He evidently did not get enough to do anythign but make him a little more lethargic than usual for a day or two, and now is just fine.

Really pissed me off, though.
