Poll question: Another marijuana public policy poll |
|
Marijuana has promise as a means to raise tax revenues by legalization and regulation. Let's suppose you had a choice: legalization and regulation, or simple decriminalization, which means that holding or selling small amounts for personal use would not be a crime, and no nonviolent, weed-related offenders would be sent to prison.
Would you be content with decriminalization, or would you push for the (more difficult) legalization and specific regulation, knowing that decriminalization would only save tax dollars, whereas legalization would save expense and increase revenues?

5. I favor legalization without regulation |

Nobody needs to regulate petunias. The whole idea of humans regulating a plant smacks of hubris.
