Speaking of the Oklahoma City Bombing....whatever happened...
Whatever happened to all the militia type people and groups? If I remember correctly, back in the Early 90s there was alot of talk about the domestic threat of these types of groups. Are these groups still around? How come no one ever discuses them anymore?

2. The Clinton Administration
handled them CORRECTLY as a police matter

Ever since 2000 we have dropped the ball on them, since bush shares their belief system

5. I'd suspect that the religous right put the boot down on them too
Let them exist maybe fund them in some way but don't make anymore trouble for them as they try (Regent U, Dominionists, etc.) to grab power.

Never underestimate their organizational ability.

3. They started a message board called "Free Republic."
The whole reason they were running in the woods hating America in the nineties was because there was a Democrat in the White House.

When they finagled a Republican in, suddenly they became patriots. While everybody else they disagreed with hated America.

Two years from now they'll be back to hating America.

4. jr was put into office & 9/11 happened. After 9/11 it wasn't a good idea
to sneak around in the woods playing secret army man.

8. They got lucky on 911
They are not deemed a danger any more.

The MSM has its bogeyman and everyone tends to follow that and forget about the other threats. AIDS used to be considered such a big threat, now the media has moved on to other things. During the Reagan administration, drugs was the number one threat, and everything was geared toward that. Terra replaced it.

It's merely a matter of media fashion. Those groups are still out there, just not getting as much attention.
