If Tea-baggers are so worked up about taxes.... |
|
where the hell were they in the months before the invasion of Iraq? I was in rallies and protests against the invasion the Bush admin was hell-bent on Iraq invasion, as I'm sure many of my fellow Du'ers were, and I doubt seriously if many, if any, who currently call themselves Tea-baggers were there.
Why not? Don't they realize that wars cost money, mucho bucks? Didn't/don't they realize that money for all these wars comes from taxes paid by US citizens, whether they're red or blue?
Riddle me this one, yall Tea-baggers....and why were you not complaining about taxes until Obama was elected?

1. I still don't get what they are angry about |
|
I mean, no-one has had their taxes raised. Almost everyone just got a tax cut in their paychecks. Where were these people when the Patriot Act was signed into law?? Where were these same people when the Abu Gharaib photos were released??

In their world: government = bad. corporations that sell them over priced poorly made crap = good.

7. No one understands what they are angry about |
|
they have no coherent clear message. If you talk to them one on one they don't make a lick of sense. They have nothing of value to add to the national conversation, yet their voice is heard and amplified by the MSM while other voices are constantly drowned out.

4. A trillion dollars doesn't faze them |

Especially when it's spent in the service of the High Church of Redemptive Violence. But they have been carefully conditioned in the last 30 years to "think" that there's nothing worse than "wasting" a million dollars feeding America's children or teaching America's young people. Now, the notion that someone might not pay full freight for a medical check-up spins them into a tizzy. Just following their masters' orders.

8. Let me take the tea bagger point of view on this.... |
|
Why do I have to pay for their war of choice with my taxes? The tea baggers should pull themselves up by their own bootstraps and pay for their war if they want a war. They created a huge deficit my children and their children will be paying their entire lives for their war, and they still want more war. In fact, their war will bankrupt the country if they don’t pay for their war. Why can’t the tea baggers show some responsibility and take care of their own problems without always asking for a government to pay for their war. They are just a bunch of corporate welfare queens leaching on true patriotic Americans.
