Angry crowd shouts at Sarah Palin at her book signing in Noblesville, Indiana on November 19, 2009 after Palin quits and refuses to sign books for around 300 families that spent about 3+ hours getting wristband and another 3+ hours waiting in line to get the Palin book signed. At Borders bookstore it was announced that 1,000 individuals would be given wristbands and could get two books signed each. By the time Sarah Palin quit, there were still about 300 individuals and there families who did not get even one book signed.

35. I'm a veteran of many autograph lines and..

I've NEVER had a person that was signing stiff people. Of course, these are usually science fiction actors, who know damn well that fans are their meal ticket. But, even if they have to leave to catch a plane, their handlers will have them "walk the line". That means they'll walk down the line, you have your item ready, and they scrawl something that looks like a signature onto it. They hurry along as fast as they can sign, but you do get an autograph.

I look at this as a failure of her staff. Of course, it goes right to the top. If she had a good excuse to blow those people off, I'm sure that her adoring fans would have accepted it. But to just walk out and hop on the bus like that was just plain rude. Any D-list actor would have done more for their fans.
