Did anyone else just see Chris Matthews on MSNBC |
|
Amy Robak was talking about the "White HOuse" response to H. Clinton. He shoots back, "the white house is not a person." "when the President responds to Hillary directly, then it will be a story." "A white house statement is not an act of great masculinity." "it's white house flackery."

even though Chris has been very labile in his support-he's spot on with those statements-these are cowardly men.

5. Yes! He wants his rating to go up like KO's have. Progressives watching KO is what has made his |
|
ratings go up, and Tweety knows it.

KO! KO! KO!
I think they "looked down" on Keith in the past. Didn't take him seriously... but that's history now.

Maybe he's pissed because we were right. We were trying to tell him that there was a pipeline from the White House to Tim Russert to Chris Matthews, but he wouldn't listen. I just connected the dots months ago when we discovered that Tim Russert is the guy in MSNBC who take the complaint calls. (Well, that's what it boils down to.) So, the White House, in essence, always had a direct link.

8. He knows flunkies/flacks 'cause he WAS one. Sorry to rain on parades |
|
but at regular intervals over years, there are spates of "Tweety has seen the light" and "Tweety has seen the writing on the wall" and somesuch.
I respectfully submit that EVEN if someday Tweety turns on the Shrub, he will NEVER EVER expend the level of ADORATION on any Dem that he has done for Shrub. Never. Ever.

11. HaHAH!!1 I repeat what I said in #8: This would make HOW MANY times |
|
he has seen the light?? Plus, another line that has been used about Tweety is that we should "encourage" him by being POLITE to him in our e-mails. Yeah, right.

15. Being polite is a big issue... |
|
He has more power then we do. He's able to sway the thinking of the American public more so then we do here at the DU.
I remember when I first started reading posts here...people were calling Matthews horrible names...maybe he derserved it then, but...he turned up the heat on dem bashing.
How would you treat people who rag on you all the time?

16. O.K., since HE rags on Dems all the time, where has politeness gotten us? |
|
I am ragged on here by the cult of Saints Fidel/Hugo/Che/AMLO. Being polite does NOT WORK. They tear to shreds. Politeness didn't work for KUCINICH when Tweety ripped him to pieces. Didn't work for DONAHUE when Tweety performed his public execution on the air. I could provide an ultimate example of "politeness" but the Nazi card is a last resort.

13. he is just mindlessly following the trend.. |
|
Now that most people are seeing what a total screwup Chimpy is he is jumping on the bandwagon. Should the tide turn and Chimpy's popularity rise he will be back to kissing presidential ass again. Tweety is a good name for him because, like a small bird he just thoughtless rides the winds which everway they happen to be blowing...
