This is just starting, there are layers and layers of scandal
to be unearthed, player after player is going to be led to the hotseat. For six years these guys have done whatever the hell they wanted, as soon as one layer is uncovered there will be another, I don't think anyone in this misadministration is foing to be here by this time next year.

I really believe we will have President Pelosi serving out the end of this term and running on her own in 08.

2. I really think she's the best choice
of all the candidates. She's shown that she has extremely tough metal in her.

3. I like Pelosi, but I think it's a pipedream that she will be Prez
Most likely, the Rethugs will work out some deal to hold the presidency through 2009 before they agree to "ease out" BushCo, much like the Ford appointment to VP following Agnew's departure.

I'm guessing if (when) the shit really hits the fan, Cheney will resign for "health" reasons, Bush will nominate someone like Hagel or Warner and then slink out of town like the worm that he is.

5. But Dem Senators don't have to accept the nominee.
So it had better be someone who can be stomached.

Better to impeach Cheney, and then Dubya almost immediately afterward.

4. It's turtles all the way down.
And the entire Administration is turning turtle, but are so shell shocked that Dubya doesn't know it.
