Even today - we can declare victory and leave. |
|
I am fine with that. As long as that means getting the kids home. If you are of the belief that Saddam was the big threat to us, well, we deposed him - so - I guess we won - lets go home.
You do that - or we live with the reality that those poor trusting kids are going to get the snot knocked out of them - everyday - until we do. This is no civil war - it is a 16 way cluster f*ck.

5. Well, if we didn't care Bush's approval ratings wouldn't be in |
|
the 30's.
We care. And if we won 4 years ago - why are we still there.
Declare victory and get out Mr President. Some people will believe you.
And many people - like me - we just want our kids the hell out of there.
SO - please feel free.

8. As long as we are 60%+ of the country - doesn't really matter. |
|
Right?
Man - I just want the kids home.
I know those kids - They were all good kids when they left - I want them back the same way they left.
Man I graduated from college and all that - and I am telling you - good kid is a good kid - if they went to college or not - doesn't matter at all.
Bush's minions - well since I don't believe he could graduate from a junior college - why would I care??
Those kids are OUR kids - all of them - and I love every one of them. So many basic grad clasees---
They need to come home RIGHT NOW!!
They care - his "minions" - he may be a lunatic - they are not.
Who do you think "WE" are ???

husbands, sisters, fellow countrymen home and yes we are in the majority-finally. I don't disagree with that. However Bush is still commander and chief of the military, he and his minions WH staffers, cabinat members corporate contributers (not necessarily the Republican party) do not give a rats butt about our troops or the Iraqi people as long as the dollars keep rolling in. IMHO initiating a war with Iraq was the purpose of the Bush presidency from day one, the plans had been in the works for a very long time since the '70's, when the gulf oil producing nationalized their oil production and we had to be beholden to them to get oil. For this bunch nothing else matters, they may have started out to restore America's honor but something changed along the way. In short as long as our current president is in office we are stuck in Iraq, there really is nothing anyone can do short of impeachment, the Republics in the house and Senate can put pressure on him but he's not running for any offices in the future, the GOP was a vehicle a means to an end nothing more, as is all the religious BS more of the same a means of getting power for a purpose My original post may have been backhanded or sarcastic, I tend to put things in that manner, coping mechanism. Sorry if you mistook it.

10. It was not misunderstood - I think, |
|
And you want to be backhanded or sarcastic -you go - no problem from me. I respect that.
Nothing short of impeachment can be done - oh, I don't think so.
We can run the bastard out of town on a rail - we can do that - our forefathers did it.
I don't know what that looks like in the 21st century - and I am curious as hell to see.
Lets find out.
