Second bomb threat at St Edwards U in Austin (and TX School for Deaf)
Just talked to my daughter who attends UT Austin to see if there have been any problems at her school. She said while everything is fine at UT, another bomb scare was called into St Edwards University today....2nd one this week.

Austin's Statesman newspaper:

Three separate telephone bomb threats have been made to two Austin schools since 10 p.m. Wednesday. Police are investigating two new bomb threats to St. Edward's University, and a telephone threat to the Texas School for the Deaf. The threats come days after a student at Virginia Tech fatally shot 32 people, raising security concerns at college campuses across the country.

School officials evacuated two buildings at the Texas School for the Deaf on South Congress Avenue, after a phone call at 2 this morning to the school's health center said a bomb was in the high school's dormitory around. Police searched the campus but did not find a bomb or unusual objects.

Students were escorted back to their dorms around 4:30 a.m. Normal classes began this morning, but today's scheduled TAKS have been postponed until Monday with the approval from the Texas Education Agency.

An unidentified caller phoned in a bomb threat to 911 for St. Edward's around 10 Wednesday night, said Mischelle Amador, the university's communications director. Police immediately investigated all areas of campus to clear all facilities for safety. Students in residence halls and apartments were not evacuated, Amador said

No one was injured when the device exploded at 11:05 a.m. near some school lockers.
