Was it connected to California's Energy Crisis and did it help out Enron with it's criminal acts?

In the Spring of that year, officials of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power met with the Task Force, asking for price controls to protect consumers (Because of the Crisis). ...I lived in California at the time, and experienced first hand the raping of our state by Enron and others. Even at the time it was obvious what was going on.

But you're right, we don't hear about it now. And the thing is: it is core to so many things including the illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq, as well as there may have been some connection in the run-up to 9/11 -- there was talk about the Bush regime being in talks with the Taliban, and offering them either gold or bombs -- and that Cheney character is one of the worst people ever to have set foot in our government -- which is saying a lot.
