I have lived most of my life in the south.I have heard just about every racist and derogatory comment you could ever imagine come out of freepers mouths but I must say that I have never actually witnessed or heard either stereotype ever being used.Not saying it doesn't happen just not around me.
I did know that watermelon was used so in the not so recent past but in my lifetime I can't recall it ever being used in such a way.
As for hubcaps and Hispanics I have never once until this thread ever heard of that stereotype.

Freeperzoids still care nothing about the end results of raping our constitution and all of the other the damage this guy is doing. What the freepers ultimately can't accept is that Gonzo is getting his * handed to him and has no way of defending himself. It's like some of the freepers/Rethugs that are against the war effort. They'd be still cheering if we were "winning", but given that we're losing, the tactitian in them is bitching about still having to be in this war (they don't want to be playing a game where they can't "win").

Ultimately, the way we win and force Gonzales out, and ultimately Bush and Cheney as well, is to show them as being "pathetic" in how they defend themselves against scrutiny, and opening up the Republican Party to huge damage in the process. If Bush and Cheney suddenly become a "losing game" for them, then many of the tactitians (perhaps even the senators who are threatened in 2008) will come on board to help get rid of them. Many of these folks will NEVER be spiritually what the Dems and we want! Later on they'll show their real colors.
