Administration shows Orszag in released photo of situation room, press takes bait like mindless fish |
|
Edited on Tue Nov-24-09 01:51 PM by HughMoran
Days like this make me shake my head and wonder why we even have a press if they can't think for themselves. I've heard this same analysis of this photo from several news agencies - so much for original thinking. OTOH, it appears that the Administration is learning how to control the minds of the simpletons in the MSM.
EDIT:
I guessed (incorrectly) that people were aware of what was going on with the Afghanistan conflict.
Basically, the picture released to the press of the President's situation room features Peter Orszag (Director of the Office of Management and Budget) prominently - thus this has been interpreted as an obvious sign that Obama is carefully considering the cost of the Afghanistan conflict before making a decision going forward. I thought DUers were political junkies and hated the war, so I figured this would be at the forefront of common knowledge here - my bad.
