flannel lined denims or khakis do the trick for me. They're warmer than cords and don't look..............well, ridiculous? :shrug: I guess it's a matter of personal preference. I've always hated cords, and until I found the L.L. Bean lined pants it was always long underwear for me. They're a bit expensive, but they really do last forever. I have 2 pair that are over 4 years old and they still don't look that worn. Toasty, too! ;) Nothing like them on a cold northern New York winter's day.
