You'd have to pick this option when you post it or something. You would get no unrecommends, but you wouldn't get recommends either.

And if you have no recs you can't be on the greatest. By the way I never actually read the greatest page. Surfing the old fashioned way where the thread that has been most recently kicked is at the top works fine for me.
