By the way, if you can't quite remember who Allen Boyd (Blue Dog-FL) is, please recall that when George W. Bush wanted to push his bill to kill Social Security as "bipartisan" he only managed to find one "Democrat" to co-sponsor it. That's Boyd, the fella bringing Lori Edwards around Washington to meet all the lobbyists. Boyd is on the Budget Committee and on the Appropriations Committee. He's taken in $1,048,609 from the financial sector-- but not because they're buying his votes; only because he's so handsome and debonair.

16. Edwards Pimps Herself and is a Liar

Not only is Edwards up there with Angelo Mozillo's best friends at the Eris Group, but down in the District where I LIVE, she is doing nothing except sit in her $130,000 government job. No grassroots, no meeting with activists, nothing.

Oh, and that $130,000 a year job, she says she is not going to resign to run because she isn't up for re-election until 2012. So she wants all of us as taxpayers to keep paying her while she campaigns for Congress and after she loses, she gets to go back to a six figure job with health care. Oh, but she doesn't want the rest of us to have health care.

The FUNNIEST part of it all is I got a push poll call from her not long ago and she was blasting her Repub opponent, Dennis Ross, for accepting a trip from a lobbyist (which Ross, unfortunately, didn't actually do - the Miami Herald has an article on it and Ross put all the stuff on his website showing she was a liar!), and she goes up to DC and has a fundraiser not just at a lobbyists house, but THE mortgage bailout meltdown lobbyist himself!

Isn't it funny that not one Democrat locally has endorsed her? Not one. Not any County Commissioner, activist, elected Dem or past elected Dem.

We need to get Doug Tudor some money so he can get this out. She is dirty.
