Bush Family Secrets (On Coast to Coast AM Tonight)
Edited on Sun Dec-06-09 01:03 AM by gateley
Ian Punnett welcomes award-winning investigative reporter Russ Baker, who will discuss shocking disclosures about various Bush family elders, as well as startling evidence that sheds new light on the JFK assassination and Watergate.

It begins the second hour of the show -- 11pm Pacific, 2am Eastern. If you're interested, check your local radio listings.

By the way, I think Ian Punnett is an exceptional host/interviewer. :hi:

1. He's way more liberal than George Noorey
Who I think is kind of a jagoff. Not kind of, he is a jagoff.

3. I can't tolerate Noory -- which sucks because they have some guests on
I'd really like to hear, but my blood pressure shoots skyward listening to Noory.

I REALLY like Ian -- he's so non-judgmental and funny as hell.

25. isn't he retired naval intelligence?
can't stand him either -- he's a patronizing and crappy interviewer. also has way too may World Nut Daily people on.

27. I don't know if it was Navy Intelligence, but he was in the Navy. He is a crappy
interviewer because he doesn't listen to the guest -- doesn't get involved in a discussion with them. Just keeps the show moving along according to a script/timeline or something. And yeah, he loves those World Nut Daily "experts".

30. exactly. zero listening skills -- it says he just doesn't give a shit.
he should take his schtick to AM-wingnut radio where he'd be engaged.

14. Ian Punnett is a breath of fresh air on CTC
I look forward to his programs as much as I did Art's occasional appearances.

George Noory has sucked big hairy elephant balls since day one. He desperately needs to retire.

18. i tried to listen last night but it was so late here, I fell asleep in minutes. Ian is quite
wonderful btw. :) I was surprised to learn that he is an ordained Episcopalian Deacon, but he keeps an open mind with all of his guests. :)

19. for those who couldn't listen..
..one of the points made early on was that Russ went into this research with an open mind, and said that for a long time he didn't find much of interest. But when he started tugging on the GHWB claim of not remembering where he was on the day JFK was assassinated, he sort of "fell down the rabbit hole" and things got more and more complicated and awful.

He says that he showed his research to several colleagues so they could tell him if he was off base, because he thought he might be "losing his mind." No one argued with his assertions or conclusions: to a person they told him quietly "watch your back."

Brrrrrrrr.

23. I kept falling asleep and I swear, only seemed to awaken when
the commercials were playing :eyes:.

Thanks for the post -- intriguing. I'll get it from Streamlink.

In the early 90's I used to see a guy named (I think) Casey DePas who was a political commentator. He said one thing people "in the know" knew -- do not fuck with the Bush family. So :scared: is right! :hi:

20. DU's Octafish got me to read Baker's book on the Bush family. He's got it down.
Gore Vidal wrote that Russ Baker's 'Family of Secrets' was one of the most important books written in the last ten years.

Having already read three biographies on the Bush family, I was hardly enthused to read yet another one. But our very own Octafish wrote me to read this one. I did.

Hope folks can tune in. K&R.

24. remember that other book about 15 years ago?
The Mafia, CIA, and George Bush.

Written by Pete Brewton, former reporter for the Houston Chronicle. I hope he's well -- it was a very brave book for that time.
