So what has happened to the National High Risk Pool that was supposed to be available Jan 1 |
|
for those with prior conditions, those who have been denied coverage or those who have had prohibitively expensive policies?
Did the Senate just make that vanish? That was an item on the "14 Things that will happen Immediately" list that was released by Pelosi after the House Bill passed. That list has been posted here many times.

1. Anyone care about this? It was a pretty big deal and about the centerpiece |
|
of the Congressional plan.
Is Congress just going to allow themselves to be rolled by the Senate?
And where is President Obama on all this? Is he going to (a)sign a bill he can be proud of that accomplishes some real reform, or sign (b) sign a "uniquely American" piece of jury-rigged crap designed to underwrite the insurance companies at the expense of the citizenry in order to keep up the Congressional gravy trains as usual?
Times up!

2. I do not know the status of it. I was in the HOUSE bill but what the Senate |
|
will do with it is unclear.

3. You are assuming the bill will pass before Congress recesses for the holidays. |
