Wouldn't it be grand if the media went after Bush the way they're going after Alec Baldwin?

3. If our "mainstream" journalists were as aggressive as our sports and entertainment journalists
we'd have never had Bush in the first place. Imagine if Bush had been investigated and/or exposed as thoroughly as Barry Bonds, Terrel Owens, Tim Hardaway, Pacman Jones, Michael Jackson, Tom Cruise... Heck, several of those didn't even do anything wrong and the sports and entertainment world still brought a ton of public pressure on them for just being annoying. Imagine if the media cared as much about Bush's crimes as about Tom Cruise's sexuality or Terrel Owens's runaway mouth.

It's all backwards. I don't care what Alec Baldwin says to his kid, that's between him, his family, and the courts. I do care about the person leading my nation into war--that effects the entire world in a life or death way. Maybe that's why Olbermann is one of the better political commentators. He got his start in sports.

I've been busy and haven't heard anything lately about him.

9. He called his 11 year old daughter a "PIG" because she didn't answer her phone when he called.
Along with a long nasty rant at her. It's probably on you tube if you want to hear it.

15. Thanks.
I'll pass on hearing it. I know he shoots off at the mouth from time to time, but I don't really think I want to hear it. Yuk. He could have just said why he was upset without calling the kid names. I hate it when parents fight in the courts and act like they are still in diapers in a sand box and resort to alienating their kids like that. Poor kids shouldn't be stuck in the middle. Looks like the courts could take the kids away temporarily until they settle their dispute if they can't stop themselves from abusing them verbally.

10. Where were you, Mars?
He called his 11 y/o daughter a "selfish little pig" several times, among other things after having his phone calls rejected. "Someone" released the phone mail to the press. Just as reprehensible

12. Ha, might as well have been Mars.
I've had my head inside wire trays and robot brains for the last weeks or so making drawings for a project.

Thanks for the info, btw. :hi:

11. And we have yet to hear about doolittle or renzi....
nothing, nada, zilch...a big story like that is shoved aside for a man trying to correct his kid. He did yell at her, but do we know if she deserved it, maybe she did.

16. Funny, how no one is talking about how her mother is using her via the media
which to me is extreme child abuse. The reality with this child is that she may end up in the long run hating her mother more than her father.
