We should start calling Lieberman and the blue dogs what they are: sociopaths. |
|
The leverage that Lieberman and other “centrists” have obtained on this issue (and on climate change) stems from a demonstrated willingness to embrace sociopathic indifference to the human cost of their actions. http://yglesias.thinkprogress.org/archives/2009/12/welcome-to-the-lieberman-administration.phpOr the Senator from Aetna. But I like sociopath better.

1. "The Senator From Aetna" I like it |
|
It's in the tradition of calling Scoop Jackson "The Senator From Boeing" because of the way he treated Vietnam and the Cold War as jobs programs.

2. They certainly are enabling the deaths of 45,000 more Americans in the |
|
future by not putting their politics aside and going to work on an issue that is really about human rights and taking care that every American has access to quality and comprehensive health care. I would call them guilty of negligent homicide at the very least.

5. We were all shocked when Gore picked him |
|
he was on the short list of VP picks but we all thought Gore put him on the short list because Lieberman had scolded Clinton so harshly over Monica. Gore was distancing himself from that whole mess.
Then Gore picked him and we were shocked. Had never thought he was a serious contender. Thought maybe Gore wanted to scold Clinton too. But accepted him and even thought he had a sense of humor.
No. He's just a scold. Telling us how much better he is than we are.
Tolerance only goes so far. I'm out of it with him.
