On CSPAN 3 talking to some teabaggers, said "It's not about health care, or budgets, it's about power". He then went on to say something stupid about Pelosi and Reid wanting to have all of the power instead of the people.

He was right at the beginning, but for the wrong reasons. The GOP couldn't fucking care less about people having health care, or any budget. THEY CARE ABOUT POWER. Getting it the power back in GOP hands, no matter what the effect on the country is. They don't care about any of it. They care about the power.

2. Yep. It's very sad.

Simply put, the Repub politicians only care about themselves and their corporate masters. They successfully manipulate their base into fighting against things that will help them by using issues like abortion and immigration. It's a big money game for the GOP. Stay in power and let the wealth accumulate for their cronies, and laugh all the way to the bank.
