That's what I propose. Lets set up a 1-800 number and get ordinary folks like you and me to chip in what we can. Maybe if we can raise enough money WE can buy the votes we need in congress. Heck our President proved you can raise a ton of money five dollars at a time - so why the hell not?

Its pretty clear by now that our congress critters have only one thing on their minds when it comes to health care reform or climate change legislation ...

"What's in it for me?"

So lets take a page out of modern history and the K Street lobbyists' manual. Lets outbid them! After all our congress members have no real core values but they sure know the value of a few million well invested dollars.

What do you say kids, all we need is a snappy new age logo and a catch phrase like "Change you can invest in" and we're on our way congressional representation.

As a wise man once said, we all know what they are, we're just haggling over the price.

"VOTS" is a little too ambiguous for my tastes (for what they're worth!)

Also, I believe you can have an eight-digit toll-free number, like "1-800-BUY-VOTES" (the final digit is inoperable(?)).

But "1-800-VOTES4U" might work, as well...

Or, "1-800-BUYADEM"(?)
