So here is a story that is happening as I write.
My nanny's, she's worked at somebody's house for all her life. I love her and these days when we visit we try to do as much as we can get away with.
Her daughter worked in whatever she could and started her own bizz, and her husband is a taxi driver. It is a hard living, but they make it.
Her grand daughter is working for the Federal Government and going to Law School right now.
I guess the dream of entering a middle class and that the next generation will be better than the last... and that is not saying things are better in Mexico. But why can she go to Law School? With all the issues present... University is still affordable, at least PUBLIC schools.
In contrast in the US we are collapsing, and we cannot even pass something like a decent health care. Now here is my question, how exactly are we going to make those promises real? I suggest you all start by realizing that change does NOT come from the parties, but from the people... and taking to the streets is but one tactic. But hell, I have said it in the past, a NATIONAL strike would do wonders...
That is all. And I am so happy for this kid, she is getting good grades and will get her legal degree...
