Just plain tired of it all
Edited on Mon Dec-21-09 11:22 PM by Doohickie
I'm tired of partisanship.

I'm tired of freepers who are more worried about making Democrats look bad than about passing good legislation for the people they represent.

And I'm tired of Democrats who've been drawn into the partisanship. I used to peruse the DU threads and think, "At least we're not as infantile as the other side." Now I peruse DU threads, and that's just not true anymore. And now a DU fundraiser ridiculing Sarah Palin: http://www.goingrouge.net/?p=119. Not that she isn't deserving of ridicule, but I liked to think the Dems were above that sort of thing.

I'm just tired of the politics of negativism.

9. That's perfectly understandable.
Two steps forward and one step back is still progress, and there will always be contentious disagreements of one sort or another. It's just the way things are.

The important thing is to keep putting one foot in front of the other no matter what. You're not alone.

5. Your siggy says, "from the Pissed-off Wing of the Democratic Party"
I would say I'm from the deeply disappointed wing...

8. Sarah Palin is fair game.
You may not approve, but politics has always been rough and tumble. I think Sarah's got a thick skin and that's actually probably the only thing I admire about her.

10. I just picked Sarah
...as an example. But an awful lot of the posts and comments around here sound like mirror images of the ditto-heads. Just as brainless, but left wingers.
