I have been ranting and raving about healthcare for the past few days...both here and on my blog. Yes, we'll get something...which is better than nothing, but we were soooo damn close. But because certain individuals accepted that we need 60 to ever get anything, (unlike the GOP, who only need a handful apparently), I am not holding my breath for a whole lotta change.

So I am entitled to blow off some steam. And have a completely irrelevant, stupid, silly diary. I can't think of anything to post on Facebook. So I did what any loser would do, I ripped them off. Here are my favorites.

3. Our "leadership" in the Senate need to quit fucking around.

The "we need 60" message/concept is designed for US and YOU. It's propaganda. No one in the Senate believes that. They ALL know it's 51 votes, as do the rest of us who are paying attention. The 60 votes is just so the opposition cannot filibuster, which makes Republicans laugh out loud and makes Democratics weak at the knees.... oooohhh, noooooo, not a fffffilibussssterrrr!

If I were in Obama's place, I'd invite them to filibuster a universal health care bill, and that bill would be filled with OUR side's greatest wishes. The propaganda.framing we put out would shame the filibusterer's into blushing when they came home at night and they would wither away quickly. Oh yeah, that's just what the Republicans do when they have power. I took it from their playbook.
