1. So!!!!!!
More stupid blithering from the blitherer-in-chief. I don't even waste my time on him. Everything he says will be a lie, something stupid or a stupid lie-take your choice. The only thing I want to see him say is "I resign".

3. The defiant president will bash Democrats generally and mean Reid
Edited on Mon Apr-23-07 06:46 AM by Old Crusoe
specifically in this one, is my guess.

We'll hear how those who oppose the Bush adminsitration's Iraq policy, such as it is, are undermining our soldiers' morale. We'll hear how the world is a new and dangerous place, one requiring more steel than the "Democrat party" is willing to summon.

It seems to me that this president needs to be told by senior Republican officials that it's time for a few changes. Richard Lugar is the ranking Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Where is his voice? He publicly corrected Reagan on Apartheid and on Marcos in the Philippines. Why can't he stand up against this little tyrant now?

It's right to blame Bush for being Bush, but he has his enablers int he Congress, and their silence is complicit in Bush's transgressions.
__________
I hope I'm wrong and the president announces, effective immediately, the resignations of Alberto Gonzales and Paul Wolfowitz.

12. I dare Bush to prove Reid wrong
This war was lost even before it began.
It was a bad idea - horribly executed - with no goal or end.
