Fort Hood workplace shooting |

along with the failed terrorist bombing of the airliner, are now full scale terrorist attacks that happened on Obama's watch.
One thing for sure, all the cons are on the same talking points.

1. Fort Hood was a Too Easy To Get Guns At The Gun Store event. |
|
But gun lovers won't admit it.

3. I would not have a retail commerce in new guns and ammo. It's an obvious menace. |

13. The Court isn't likely to change for 20 years so you'll have to come up with a different solution. |

4. Your post is a perfect example of why people (rightly) do not trust gun grabbers. |

This guy was an active duty Major in the US Army.
He SHOULD have been shut down for his association with Anwar al-Awlaki. But he wasn't. That is a topic for another thread.

the right-wing cons spin the news.

His ability to conveniently kill en masse is another.
It was a danger of a USA self inflicted kind.

In any event, an attempt to restrict gun ownership by ACTIVE DUTY military personnel is beyond laughable and bordering on delusion. Good luck with that.

11. If it's not available for retail purchase at the Guns Galore store, it's somewhat LESS of a danger. |
|
On this point, there can be no disagreement.

14. Cons are spinning the news *away* from the fact that the system that failed... |
|
Edited on Tue Dec-29-09 09:33 PM by bridgit
was designed and implemented by them *to* fail. It had to fail, cause cons cannot plan their way out of a wet paper bag. And that much is clear in grand Byzantine fashion with all these color codes, duct tape, boogah boogah shit and A, B, C lists of 'interests', still STILL with one not talking to the other, no correlation and now as though Obama is supposed to fly off to Denmark and check all the baggage himself/personally - neocons are now re-propagating damnable hogwash to cover for their preferences for their deadly culture of vicious death, war profiteering and no-bid chaos
Ft. Hood's Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, which Hoekstra is flipping out about not having "been briefed" as to the progress of a very sensitive on-going investigation; is an interesting twist for me. With he first being mentioned as having received the Army Service Ribbon as a private in 1988 he was in the system for quite some time. And G.H.W. Bush's VP status 1981–1989, puts him under Poppy's purview too close for con comfort - not to mention all the spook stuff they tout themselves as being exclusively privy to: Hasan fell under more Bush family eyes and for longer periods of time than Obama can shake a stick at...sleeper cell/sleeper person? Ace in the hole?
Manchurian Candidate, indeed
And so the cons obfuscate. Again. They carry it all somewhere else. Again. They glue it to the foreheads of others anything but calm the fuck down, admit where *they* went fucking hell-bent-wrong and contribute to a solution that serves America first. But there is no way in hell these malignant thinkers will ever be able to admit to the vicious world of endless war profits & culture of death they actively support
