Breaking - deadly attack in Afghanistan - eight Americans killed
Edited on Wed Dec-30-09 03:02 PM by malaise
Get the fuck out of Afghanistan.

On GEM$NBC - several others seriously injured.
None are servicemen or women - looks like all civilians killed at a base.
Not sure if it's on the base or at the US Embassy. Suicide bombing.

1. BBC link
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/8435502.stm
<snip>
Eight Americans have been killed in a suicide bomb attack in south-eastern Afghanistan, US officials say.

Reports said the attack happened at Forward Operating Base Chapman in Khost Province and that the the suicide bomber was wearing an explosive vest.

One unnamed US official was quoted by Reuters news agency as saying that all of those killed were civilians.

Details about the attack are still emerging and it was not clear how many people had been injured.

13. Just heard that on Rachel - what a horrible day
She said it was the biggest loss of intelligence officers since the war began. The Canadian story just broke - no details yet.

16. !

Meet Hamid Karzai
or as Obama calls him, "The Government of Afghanistan".

He was appointed by Bush the Lesser to run Afghanistan.
He is one of the most despicable criminals in The World,
But NOW we like him so much
that our children will be sent to DIE in the deserts of Afghanistan to keep him in power.
