Resign Mr. Geithner
You have been a drag on this administration since day one. You failed as head of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York to prevent or warn of the financial crisis and you have failed as Treasury Secretary of representing the citizens of this nation over the Too Big to Fail.

Today's revelation are just an additional slap in the face to the American Public. Resign and take your job at Goldman.

If the President continues with this scumbag now, there is no plausible deniability for his bad behavior.

9. Indict him. This is money laundering, pure and simple
Edited on Thu Jan-07-10 03:47 PM by Prism
The use of AIG to cover the losses of banks like Goldman Sachs while lying about it to the American people is nothing less than politically criminal - and the directive towards secrecy may be actually criminal. This administration has now gone from passive bystander to active collusion with Wall Street.

25. Geithner's nomination
was my first disappointment in the administration.

I figured the guy was either too dumb (doubtful) or too crooked (likely) to pay his income taxes, and, either way, he didn't belong in a position of public trust.

This news is just confirmation of what I suspected, and what President Obama should have known.

Geithner stinks like week-old fish, and he's getting smellier all the time.
