Willie Geist, "Way Too Early" is the first in the morning to get the |
|
subject matter and "tone" for the day. I'm often up that early and can tell just what the stories will be, at least for the morning hours. Schmoe follows his show and they continue whatever Willie started. This morning Geist read excerpts of Barnacle's scathing column re Coakley, Obama's "falling" numbers, etc. You get the drift. Willie also had a smarmy attitude about the New York Jets winning yesterday and the possibility of the team being in the SB. What's up with that?
Of course Barnacle is on the panel this morning so I fortunately turned them off to save the blood pressure. Of course the storyline could have improved after I tuned out but my point is, if you want to know the a.m. MSNBC line of discussion, just tune into "Way Too Early"...Willie gets the memo first.

I'm always up much earlier than that show. I never watch it. That kid is a toxic asswipe.

A more accurate description might be viewed as being in poor taste. I try to keep it clean here.

7. I'm sometimes up then too. |

The last thing I would do is watch Geist. He's like a big, overgrown child with shallow, childish thinking. Who needs it?

8. Willie Geist only has a job on TV because of his father - same |
|
with Luke Russert. The networks could at least hire someone of that generation with talent if they are aiming for attracting a younger crowd.

13. Who was/is his father? |
|
Someone should file a suit against MSNBC.
The only way to get a job there is to be related to an employee.
Somethings not far about that ~ Don't forget Mika

14. His father is Bill Geist who has/had a segment on the |
|
Sunday Morning show on CBS. He does human interest stories. I haven't watched it in years, but that's Willie's Dad.

9. I'd Rather Watch The Fish Tank... |
|
MSNBC doesn't exist on my teevee in the morning...and I usually don't throw it on until mid afternoon these days. Now, did Barnacle plagerize that article?
While it looks like there's some movement from Coakley, the corporate media is all set for Brown to win and hope to trigger a Democratic blame game. I'd love to see them eat their words...IRC, we heard similar "polls" before the NY-23 election that put Hoffman ahead, and we know how that turned out.
That said, here's hoping there's a wake-up call at the DNC...this election year will be difficult and the party better not take any contest for granted...

18. I tuned in for the first time this morning |
|
and turned it off as soon as he started laying down the agenda (Barnacle et al). I was under the impression that he actually had a couple of independent thoughts during his show. I didn't have to get into it too far to decide that wasn't the case.
So I flipped to CNN for a few minutes before I turned it off to take a shower.
