two sorts of missionaries to my way of thinking; those that live Christ's precepts and those who tell others their "right" way to live them. An example is the "missionaries" in Haiti and specifically the ones called by Focus On The Family. Haitians are Roman Catholic and so Christian. But to hear the Dobson's of the world they are a benighted people who need to hear God's word and be saved. These missionaries are less concerned about teaching, clothing, feeding and comforting and more about proselytizing other Christians. The subtext is that Catholics are evil because they follow the Pope. This has been the historical arguement since Luther's Thesis' and has been the cause of too many excuses to murder and other moral crimes. I find Dobson, et al truly un-Christian.

Haitians are Catholics. Maybe they think Haitians are heathens and savages.

2. There is a huge portion of RW Evangelicals who do not believe Catholics are Christians. |

Sadly I have even heard Catholics refer to themselves as "Catholic Christians" because you never hear on someone referring to themselves as a "Baptist Christian".
