Was Obama more deliberate than we thought?
For some time, we have been wondering why Obama seemed so accommodating to the corporations. Has he been this way all along because he knew the campaign finance laws were to change so sadly, and so unamerican-ly as they did? Has he been kissing ass, so that THEY would re-elect him no matter what happens between now and then?

If this is true, he would have been the last man elected the old, democratic, former constitutional way, and the first man to be elected under the no limit laws. He has made and will make even more history than we thought.

If this is true, oh my God, oh my God,

OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!

3. I don't think so. Obama is DLC, and DLC loves corporations
DLCers like to "sweeten" things to appeal to Democrats (social issues) so they can freely carry out their the repuke-lite corporate policies

5. I don't think that's it.
I don't think he has been trying specifically to be accommodating to corporations.

He has been trying to be accommodating to *everyone*. I think he truly believes (or believed) that he could bring different people (and different interests) together for the common good. Naive? Maybe. But the American people were hungry for someone who actually was a uniter not a divider.

10. Skinner... do you talk with other major players... including other
blog/forum administrators? If so, do they largely share your sense of things?

I can take the "well-meaning, yet naive'" argument quite a ways to explain the seemingly inexplicable. But, after awhile, wouldn't a politician who came through the "rough & tumble world" of Chicago politics (not to mention his time on the Hill) have shifted gears--at least privately-- to a more hard-ball approach?

18. I don't have much contact with any major players or bloggers.
As for whether they agree with me? Who knows. I find many of their opinions perplexing.

23. That made me lol. Neither would I. (contact with major players) I have enough in my own little life
I cannot imagine running this site and, well, living.

I think President Obama has been less than what I'd hoped on many issues, however, I agree that he clearly believes he could appeal to the best in each person's humanity and get people to work together, especially since he knew them for years in the Senate - I believe though he knows NOW that too many on the Right will not play nicely and really could care less about the suffering going on in this country.

Thanks for at least commenting from time to time, I'm sure you read posts but don't comment all the time, but it's nice to know that you're still here. LOL... Some say you're a DLC-Bot or whatever. I think they've got into Michelle Bachmann's medications.

11. Well SKinner, I want to believe that!
I believed it till last week. But Democracy is going out the door, been pushed by the SCOTUS. I'll try to remain positive.

24. SCOTUS surely has been quite alarming with their decisions. I can only hope we get to replace
a few more, because like you, I believe Democracy truly is in jeopardy because of the very ruling they ruled 5-4 upon.

Knock a nation to its knees, while other experts say these earthquakes are accidentally induced when the HAARP installation is udsed for its tomography functions (Searching for oil and minerals, etc)

Here are two very interesting vids to watch:

21. So HAARP does not exist?
And the patents that protected that information till it was sold to USA government (And now to British, I believe) are just made up scientific nonsense?

Yeah right.

So what do the Big Players use for their tomographic explorations, then?

22. Sure, HAARP exists.
But it doesn't cause earthquakes.

It doesn't cause hurricanes.

It doesn't cause the Loch Ness Monster.

And it doesn't cause people to laugh at you.

To avoid global over heating - (That is science jargon for chemtrails)

Concerns how Bill Gates is not only aware of this technology but is spending mega bucks to be involved!

http://blogs.sciencemag.org/scienceinsider/2010/01/bill-gates-fund.html

It is a shame that all these people interested in the geo engineering aspect missed the reports on how the amount of air plane flights needed for these campaigns create more pollution than what is mitigated through the cloud seeding.
